![]() There is already a town in the mystery ylands called town in peril or something like that and we can already make 7 merchantsĢ. Have a real epic naval battle and bring the player back into the Flow State. It would be interesting to see other ships on the ocean that i can sail up to and blast with my canons. Players cam pick out key areas of interest then go back to there Ships to land and explore the Islands.ģ) NPC Trade Ships / Pirate Ships: I believe that the open ocean in Ylands is really boring and most of the time im watching something on my phone while on the ocean sailing between islands. Planes could be used as scouting of the Map and reveal a larger area at a time. Obviously the player wouldn't be able to land on most of the islands because of uneven terrain but that's kinda the point. There are already crashed bombers and it would be cool if the player could craft Airships, Bi-Planes, and Bombers to travel the map faster. Creating a town would allow players to show off creativity and keep players on longer.Ģ) Planes: Ylands would be so much better if there were airships and Biplanes. The issue is once you get a steamship and car thats kinda the Max for the game. ![]() This would create a kind of RPG like mechanic to the game for players that have nothing left to do. The Trading towns cannot be attacked by other Players but they can benefit from the trade. The roles of these NPCs would to create goods and sell them to the Player that owns / created the town as well as visiting players. ![]() The Player would build bakery's, Blacksmiths, Hunting lodges and so on. This discussion is in the eyes of a fellow game designer and I have some recommendations that would make Ylands better in my option.ġ) Ylands needs to have "player Towns" the ability for a player to build a Trading Post town with NPCs that spawn and live / work inside the town.
